I want to look blonder but we are coming into winter and so being in the sun isn’t really going to highlight my hair. Is there any natural things that can really make your hair go lighter? Does lemon juice or salt water work? Any thing else? Thanks in advance!

well being in the sun helps a lot, but putting lemon juice in your hair and sitting outside (it doesn’t have to be warm, there just has to be some sun) helped alot for me. if u cant do that, your only option is hilighting or dying it. i would suggest hilighting it but with thick chunks, first because it is better for your hair, and second because it would look weird to make a huge change, you want it to be more subtle.
The Sunnnn!

Lemon juice does work! I tried it when I was in my teens, my mom told me about it cuz she got tired of me wating my money on that stuff in a bottle called Sun In. It does the same thing. When your hair is wet add the lemon juice all over your hair then blow dry it. You will start to see it lighten(if your hair is darker it will take longer to get lighter results).
