References: Hikari1446- www.cosplay.com Penwiper- www.entropyhouse.com ================================================ Yeah my voice gets annoying 5 seconds in, so here what i say: ================================================ Here you can see That Hikari 4116 has cut off the actual thong part off her base, i didnt do this because i thought the shoes will probobly stay on better with them stil on, since i got flip flops about 3 sizes bigger than my actual shoe size. next, Hikari 4116 cut out about 6cm of her craft foam and used that to form the toe of the shoe.next she cut about 3cm for each side, then she folded the shorter pieces under the larger one to get the right shape she then trimmed to achieve the correct shape and used her hot glue gun to glue it all together. then for the sides, she glued the craft foam width wise and cut the extra foam of the top to make it even with the toe. she then placed her foot witrhin the “shoe” and built the rest of it around her foot. With myself, firstly i created paper templates around the flip flop i was willing to use, i did this so i could estimate how many sheets of craft foam i needed for the shoe. I ended up using a size 11 flip flop (even though i am a size and it ended up using just about 3 sheets. I then stickytaped them all together in the desired form then glued all the pieces together but left the actual shoe not connected to the flip flop until i was done assembling.
