Handmade Easter Card:
Giving Easter cards will please the people you have invited. How about home made card with a personal touch? You need a few things like thin sheet of cards, color, glue and scissor. Now start making the card.
First cut one of the thin sheets of card into a number of strips.Remember that you need to cut only the halfway down the thin sheet. Now cut out a few flowers from another card and paint them in different color. With the help of the glue fix the flowers on the end of each strip of the thin sheet of card.
The next step is to curl the card and join the two ends of the card with glue. This will give the card a cylindrical shape. While doing this you should see that the flowers are facing inwards. Now very gently curl down the strips with the flowers attached on top of them. When the flowers droop outwards the whole thing will look like a flower pot.
Candy Strawberries:
Just as you greet them with your hand made card don’t you want to surprise them with a unique sweet dish before they leave. Here it is.Candy Strawberries are very easy to prepare. But it is a rare recipe. They look pretty and they are very tasty.Children are very fond of them.Nevertheless the adults will surely like them as well.Just gather a few ingredients and you can make them in no time.

This project is a simple way to personalize an Easter craft project that you and your child can do together. Teachers would also benefit by having their students create this one of a kind personalized gift for their parents, grandparents, or anyone special to them. For this project an Easter gift for grandparents was created.
For this project you will first need to fill the bottom section of your plastic egg. We filled ours with a package of jelly beans, but wrapped candy, chocolates or other types of gift items, such as an Easter wash cloth or pot holder with a bag of candy or nuts would also do. Once the inside of the egg is filled, put the clear egg top on. Next, take two strands of fun fur yarn (purple & pink) long enough to wrap all the way around the center of the egg, leaving enough to tie a small bow at the top. This will hold your egg tightly in place and add visual texture. Next, remove transparent word stickers and place them horizontally across the front of the egg top. Make sure to gently smooth out any air bubbles. Next, remove sticky gems from the package and stick above or near words to add dimension and sparkle. This project is quick, yet such an easy way for your child or student to personalize an Easter gift for those they love.
Supplies:
1 large clear plastic egg with removable top (we chose a lavender base with a clear top) 1 package of sticky gems (we used purple, lavender, pink & fuchsia with an emerald style) 1 package of transparent word stickers (we chose words about grandparents) 1 package of fun fur stripes yarn in pastel colors (we chose purple & pink) 1 package of jelly beans.

Try your hand at a quick and colorful Easter centerpiece decoration for your table setting. Like most of us, we probably have at least two, maybe three glass vases that could easily be turned in to something really beautiful and unique without breaking the bank.
For this Easter craft project you will need the following supplies:
Glass vase – We chose to use a tall clear one, with no design on it. Easter paper grass – We chose bright green, but any coordinating Easter color also works. 1 large Easter egg – We chose a pink ceramic egg 5 medium Easter eggs – We chose artificial eggs in pink, blue & crème in a multi colored spotted finish. 3 small Easter eggs – We chose artificial white eggs 1 decorative craft bird – We chose one in pink, blue and yellow to complement the colors of the eggs. Double sided sticker square
Step 1 – Begin by creating egg shaped forms of the Easter paper grass in your hand. For this project we made six, but it will vary depending on the width and height of your vase. Next, take your Easter paper grass forms that you have made and drop them in to the vase one at a time. This will build height to your project; at least one quarter of the vase should now be full.
Step 2 – Begin layering your artificial eggs, medium then small. Repeat the process.
Step 3 – Place your large ceramic egg on top of the artificial eggs. At this point your vase should be half full. You are now ready to do your final step.
Step 4 – Take your double sided sticker square and apply it to the bottom of your decorative craft bird and press firmly. Next, carefully place your craft bird in to the vase, resting it side ways on to the large ceramic egg with the feathers facing down. When you have completed your project, at least one eighth of the glass vase should be empty at the top of your vase.
You now have a beautiful custom and unique Easter decoration for your table top that your guests are sure to ooh and ah at. Another idea would be to pair your vase with another one facing the other end of your table setting. If you choose to add a second vase, just remember to double your supplies listed above.

There is always one teacher from your youth that sticks out in your mind. One person who went that extra mile and not only taught…but touched. This teacher for me was Mrs. Allen. Gray hair and a pointy chin, Mrs. Allen was loved the moment she was met.
She taught us everything we needed to know educationally… and then she showed us how to do all sorts of fun crafts; Christmas crafts to Easter crafts to just-for-fun crafts. We made things from popsicle sticks, glitter, glue and crayons. We learned that we could invent at 9 years old! The sky was the limit, and every day held another adventure. I remember one such craft that I still have in my possession over 20 years later.
The morning was particularly cold, even for northern Utah. The snow was high and Christmas was on its way! My mom had sent me to school that day with a miniature sized picture of myself. A freckled little girl, I had never thought myself as beautiful. As I held that picture though, I remember the feeling of pride at how well my school pictures had turned out that year. I was anxious to take it to school for whatever project we were attacking next.
After completing our daily work, Mrs. Allen handed us a white foam ball the size of a softball. She then asked us our favorite Christmas colors. Mine were most definitely red and silver that year. Two neat little baggies of red and silver sequins were then placed on my desk. At that age, anything that shined captured my attention fully! Mrs. Allen then told us we would be making a Christmas ornament that would take several days to complete.
Each day I would come to school, so eager to continue working on my craft. Using little silver pins, I remember carefully sticking each sequin into my foam ball. I had come up with a terrific idea for a pattern and couldn’t wait to see it completed. When I came to the middle of the ball, Mrs. Allen gently helped me pin my miniature school picture onto the front. After that final sequin was put in place, we wrapped them in tissue paper to present to our parents. There was never a prouder little girl than I, that day.
Mrs. Allen loved crating with kids and the kids loved Mrs. Allen because of it. My ornament, roughed up with time still holds my little school picture neatly pinned on the front. I don’t remember much of what was taught that year, but I do remember Mrs. Allen teaching us to make crafts. Her passion for art and using imagination rubbed off on a young girl and has stuck with her through the years.
The author Jennifer Stevens says here about craft teacher. She is talking about her previous day and she remember her craft teacher Mrs. Allen, She taught us everything we needed to know educationally, she showed us how to do all sorts of fun crafts, christmas crafts to Easter crafts to just-for-fun crafts. Also she learnt how to make Easter bunny templates. For more information on free crochet patternsfree knitting patterns, free crochet hat patterns visits www.favecrafts.com
