Are You An Arts & Crafts Person Who Says: “I Want To Sell My Crafts Over The Internet!” – Well, Are You?

Good News for You! There are many people who make homemade things from costumes and other items with fabric, to scrapbooks and greeting cards; from handmade invitations and knitted sweaters, to quilts, jewelry, wall decorations and more! Sometimes these folks sell their crafts at a local art fair, annual church bazaar or a neighborhood event of some sort. Others sell them through word-of-mouth advertising, to people in their neighborhood or around their town. When a friend tells a friend, who turns around and tells another friend, it’s called word-of-mouth advertising and it is very powerful!

Many people would like to sell their crafts and creations online, but they don’t want to spend too much money to open their own website if they only make a few things here and there! Well, if you are a hobby and craft person, and make something that people would want to buy, and you want to sell online, you don’t have to open your own website, if you don’t want to; you can sell your crafts through another big site, where many people gather, to buy and sell…crafts and anything that is handmade!

There is this wonderful website called Etsy.com and you can actually enter through my area… http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7721158  where you will see my profile.

By the way, my name is Father Time, and I have been writing for ages. One of the things that I enjoy writing is greeting card verses, and I have compiled an e-book of verses that other folks can use inside their own handmade cards. My e-book is listed for sale on that site, listed above, and they also have thousands of other great items made by people everywhere! Be sure to check it out, particularly if you have something handmade to sell! If you decide to join, please tell them that I referred you and Thank You in advance!

As a published writer for over thirty years, I am also getting busier these days by writing for hire, as a ghost writer, for people who have their own websites and need some good articles written for the purposes of article marketing! If you need something like that, please be sure to visit my personal website, which I call my Online SuperStore: http://www.fathertimepublishing.com/default.php?cPath=2540890

Whether you create your own website, or sell through a site such as Etsy.com, the main thing is that you can be a self-employed entrepreneur, selling your own crafts, and you can reach the world via the internet! Please don’t let the negativity of someone else talk you out of it, if it is your dream! Good Luck to you and Many Blessings!

Father Time has been a published writer for over thirty years and particularly focuses on motivational and self-help writing and speaking! He also has many years of sales experience and writes sales & marketing training and materials. His first love is poetry and greeting card verses!

He currently does a lot of writing for hire, especially article marketing pieces for folks who have their own websites to promote. IF you have a website, you should contact him for some good writing to promote your site; right away! You will be glad that you did!

For people that would love to earn some extra cash income, you can buy a bunch of pepper sprays, for way less than retail, and resell them to people that you know, or others in your community. You will have fun, make a profit, and you will be helping people to be safer, because a self defense pepper spray, can be just the thing to stop an attacker in his tracks! What else can be used for crafts besides glue guns?

I am looking for suggestions on what else I can use for arts/crafts besides a glue gun? I honestly don’t care for them as they as very messy, not to mention hot! Also, I have rather large hands for a woman so using a glue gun with small pieces makes for an aggravating experience. I would appreciate any less messy suggestions. Thanks to all!

Turn Your Arts & Crafts Hobby Into A Money Making Business!

Many folks all over America, both men and women, who make things by hand, such as clothing, cards and scrapbooks, jewelry, art work, handbags, and so much more, are selling their “works of art” online, via the internet! Some of these folks have their own website of art and crafts. Some of the people used to sell their art at local venues, such as a bazaar at their church or club, or even in a neighborhood art show, and through word-of-mouth advertising, they gained quite a reputation. Word of mouth is such a powerful thing; when a friend tells a friend, who turns around and tells another friend, and so forth! So, because of their popularity, and probably the quality of their goods, they decided to try selling online.

Now some folks don’t want the expense of their own website, but they would like to somehow sell their items online, and there are ways to do this at a very low cost. You don’t have to have your own website if you don’t want to; you can actually sell your crafts through some other bigger site, where many people gather, to buy and sell anything that is handmade! There is this wonderful website called Etsy, and you can actually enter through my listing

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7721158  where you will see my profile, and if you decide to join, please tell them I sent you! By the way, my name is Father Time, and although I do have my own website, I know the importance of selling through other venues as well.

I am a writer and one of the things that I write is greeting card verses, and I have compiled an e-book of verses that hobbyists can use inside their own handmade cards. My e-book is listed for sale on that site, listed above, and they have thousands of other great items made by people everywhere!

As a published writer of over thirty years, I am also getting busier these days by writing for hire! I have many people who have their own websites and need some good articles written for article marketing purposes! They pay me to write articles for them, such as the one that you are reading, and then they publish them, in their own names, on websites such as Articlesbase.com, which is fabulous. Then other folks who have a blog or website, and want to add new content, will borrow and repost the articles, thus giving more exposure to the website of the person who posted the article! The reason their website gets more exposure is because their website’s URL will be included in the article. If you need something like that, please be sure to visit my website to learn more: http://www.fathertimepublishing.com/default.php?cPath=2540890

2 Quick Ways To Market Crafts

There are tons of places to market crafts online! But what are the quick, affordable and effective places you can market your handmade and get it noticed. Well here are two quick and simple places!

Place a free classified ad on Craigslist.com under the Arts & Crafts category under For Sale. You can make your ad for individual handmade items or give a summary about the handmade you sell in general. Make sure to include a link to your online shop or craft web site where they can complete their purchase. Please note there is a limit to the number of ads that you can place. You will need to place your ad each time it expires. Make sure to include pictures of your handmade. Ads with pictures get more notice.

I recommend having an online shop or web site if you are going to market crafts online. Nothing is worse then being swindled out of your valuable handmade because someone sent you a fake money order or gave you a promise to send you money if you send them a sample of your handmade first!

Don’t give your email address unless you want to be spammed! Now be careful, you may receive inquiries through Craigslist.com from pretend shoppers or swindlers! Don’t fall for anyone who does not want to place an order through your online shop.

Join a virtual like, like HandmadeCraftShow.com. This is perhaps the easiest and best way to market handmade crafts online. They take care of all the online marketing work for you. Advertising on HandmadeCraftShow.com automatically puts your handmade on Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Ning.com, Technorati.com and craft related blogs and websites! So you can get a wide range of online exposure without breaking your monthly marketing budget.

For a small very reasonable marketing fee, you can post pictures of your handmade, a description, your location, and even include your Etsy.com Mini or Artfire.com Rapid Cart. They have a companion Arts & Crafts Buzz blog, where they blog about the individual artists in their show. So you are not just placing a banner or pictures on their site and then that’s it. Nope! The folks at HandmadeCraftShow.com actively work to market the handmade artists who participate in their virtual craft show all over the web.

HandmadeCraftShow.com is a fun way to buy handmade online. If you love handmade, then you should visit our virtual craft show. You will find new and popular handmade!

Are you a handmade artist? Do you you need help marketing your handmade online? We understand that marketing and selling crafts online can be a very daunting task. Which is why HandmadeCraftShow.com works very hard marketing our artists and increasing their online exposure.
