1) Lowe Cornell brushes are the only ones that are anywhere near MAC brushes. The reason why is that most MAC brushes are goat hair brushes which is the same for the Lowe Cornell brushes. 2) All of the other brushes are synthetic make up brushes hince the lower price. Synthetic brushes are a little bit harder to take care of and sanitize simply because the real hair brush bristels will actually “open up” when being cleaned, so you can get the bacteria out of the indiviual hair strand.
Essence of Beauty at CVS has great brushes and they’re so cheap. There’s a pack of 3 double ended brushes for like $10. You get a dupe for the mac 109, 190, 194, 168, 227, and 275.
the Ulta highlighter brush is great but it is $26 so you might as well buy the mac 187 in my opinion. But studio sets has a great duo fiber brush for only like $8
Can we use winsor & newton bushes as makeup brushezs??
Wow… thank you sooo much for this video and list of dupes! I can’t wait to go to Michael’s for some of the LCMM brushes! Oh, and by the way, I noticed “interpretation” was misspelled in your annotation and in your info column so I thought I’d let you know it is spelled with an ‘e’ for the third vowel. I can’t think of an easy way to remember that except for remembering that the word ‘interpret’ has one i and two e’s. HTH and thanks again!
thanks so much for this
haha
i need a new foundation brush because i randomly got one from Victoria’s Secret a while ago &.. well lets just say they should just stick to bras.
I heard the stippling brush from coastals scents sheds and bleeds when washed. More expensive stippling brushes are worth it I think.
thanx!

I’m not sure if you’ve tried the Ecotools retractable kabuki brush but after the incident with my kid’s project I mentioned LOL,I went out and bought that one and i’ve to tell ya it’s amazing.I had the ecotools regular kabuki and it’s not comparable at all.The retractable one is much softer, denser and I actually love it as much as my Mac!!! check it out if you haven’t..well worth it.
