Glue on stringed pearls all the way around. Decoupage wrapping paper on them. Glue on buttons or jewelry notions all the way around. Silver, copper or gold leaf them. Glue on doilies and paint over them, it gives an interesting texture. Use spackle in a light coating over a stencil and paint.
